My favorite teaching memories are always from when the students and I leave the classroom and go do something. When we deliver a foal at 3 am and it’s exciting and new! Even when we do the mundane, such as measure out hay or clean stalls. Those are the best moments because that’s when they ask the best questions or they use something from lecture and it becomes real.
